Welcome to Refinery29 Loves, the monthly news bulletin where you’ll find the best things to shop and see in fashion and beauty right now.

The month of January routinely gets a bad rap. Whether it's winter blues getting everyone down in the dumps or the dreary weather forecast making us all want to hibernate inside, the post-festive period often feels like a write-off. However, we're here to suggest that the end of party season can actually be a good thing, as it opens a whole new calendar year of exciting launches across the beauty and fashion space.

Whether you are looking for a way to elevate your loungewear to the headiest heights of luxury or searching for skincare to help you resurface your complexion for the new year ahead, we've got you covered. From Sézane's latest artistic collaboration to the moisturizer that’s sure to fly off the (digital) shelves, here’s what the fashion and beauty world is serving up in January.

At Refinery29, we’re here to help you navigate this overwhelming world of stuff. All of our market picks are independently selected and curated by the editorial team. All product details reflect the price and availability at the time of publication. If you buy or click on something we link to on our site, Refinery29 may earn commission.

COS x Nativa Regenerative Wool Collection

We all know the importance of wool come wintertime, and COS is taking things one step further with the launch of a limited-edition Merino collection with Nativa. Known for its eco-positive, regenerative farming practices, with the collaboration, Nativa aims to improve COS' environmental transparency. The eight-piece collection, that's made using traceable wool fibers, includes winter essentials like longline knitted wool vests, slim-line fitted wool trousers, and lightly structured wool blazers.

Miu Miu Upcycled Collection

For its fourth limited-edition upcycled collection, Miu Miu put the focus on Y2K denim and patchwork accessories. The conscious collection — which first launched in 2020 to celebrate vintage clothing and encourage circular design practice —includes two-tone jeans, oversized trucker jackets, and even denim bralettes. But for those who enjoy something a little more glamorous, the luxe capsule also includes a variety of embellished accessories and garments, including a hand-embroidered denim headband featuring silk chiffon, and black crystal beaded flowers inspired by 1950s haute couture.

Coveted by French women and international fashion lovers alike, Sézane is known best for its romantic Parisian-inspired wardrobe. Now, the brand is joining forces with creative duo Colombine Jubert and Laëtita Rouget (also known as Pangea) to create a travel-themed collection that incorporates the artists' colorful illustrative style into Sezane's comfort-first offerings. Expect quilted jackets, embroidered sweatshirts, flowing shirts and gold-hammered jewelry in the drop, as well as a limited-edition tote bag with every order.

Net-A-Porter x Toteme Weekend Capsule

Over the last 10 years, Toteme has built a reputation as the epitome of Scandinavian chic. Known best for its "elevated uniform" approach to dressing, the label is now turning its attention toward athleisure with the launch of its weekend capsule collection, exclusive to Net-A-Porter. The 32-piece drop includes an assortment of apparel and accessories in the brand's go-to neutral colorways, ranging from belted brown teddy coats to cashmere joggers and leather pouch bags.

Diptyque's Fleur de Peau Collection

By now, Diptyque needs no introduction. The cult brand turned the humble candle into the ultimate symbol of luxury, but real enthusiasts know that the fragrances are where the Parisian perfumer shines. For January, the Fleur de Peau Collection is getting a welcome expansion, adding the musk-, iris-and-pink peppercorn scent into three new products. For those who want something lighter than an eau de parfum, the new hair mist offers an airier alternative, while the body gel and hand and body balm are perfect for those who like to luxuriate at bath time.
