With Halloween just days away, it’s no wonder that every brand under the sun (or, you know, fog and rain) is releasing its take on spooky, costume-ready collections. Yandy is, unsurprisingly, offering a series of questionable costumes, including “I Voted” pasties and a look inspired by the college admissions scandal, while Dolls Kill released sparkly alternatives perfect for a last-minute Euphoria costume. At Zara, though, the Halloween collection isn’t meant to be packed away on November 1 but, rather, worn all year long.
In the new Halloween section of the Spanish brand’s website, you’ll find a selection of velvet mini dresses, metallic pants, and fringe dresses that are more reminiscent of Fashion Month's best runway looks than anything that goes “boo!” in the dark. Even so, with the right styling, each piece in the 30-piece collection can be as much a David Bowie costume as a New Year's Eve ensemble, or, for that matter, a look to wear on Saturday night — that is, a Saturday night not during COVID-19. That’s because, in addition to elbow-length elbow gloves, a chain-link bra top, and a black-and-white collared dress made for Wednesday Addams, the collection also includes some of today’s most sought after trends, from knee-high riding boots to puff-sleeved mini dresses.
Ahead, see for yourself how Zara made the most of Halloween this year by clicking through our favorites from the holiday edit.

The real estate agent and reality TV star has gone from polarizing to inspiring on the series, which has not yet announced a season 4, after garnering a large social media following. When Quinn joined the reality series, she barely had an Instagram presence. Now, she has 1.4 million followers — a large number who Quinn treats like close friend. She shares behind-the-scenes moments from her life on Stories, which starkly contrast her highly curated couture-filled feed posts.
Quinn’s waist-length blonde hair, porcelain skin, and over-the-top outfits would make the perfect, chic last-minute Halloween costume. Yes, you could throw on a bald cap and be Brett or Jason Oppenheim (free couples' costume idea: be both), or wear a tight bandage dress and be Chrishell Stause or Heather Young, but why not go all out and channel Christine Quinn’s HBIC energy for the night?
Like so many of us Quinn — a self-described “Halloween person,” maybe thanks to her birthday’s proximity to the holiday, and her general love of dressing up for every occasion — doesn’t know exactly what she’s doing October 31 this year. Nevertheless, she does know that she’s dressing up, even if that only means taking pictures around her house. “I’m usually [dressed up as ] a slut, but that’s my everyday attire,” she says. “Sometimes I do scary stuff, not like Lindsay LohanMean Girlsscary stuff, but sexy scary stuff, like Morticia Adams, Maleficent. But this year I was really feeling the 2000s vibes, and feeling really nostalgic, like, Oh my gosh, things were so much better back then before technology and tweets and instant pictures. So I decided to go as Christina Aguilera in the “Dirrty” music video.” A costume designer who has worked with Beyoncé is working with her on the costume.
And while we can’t all get a Beyoncé-approved designer to finalize our looks, I went for the next best thing: Christine Quinn breaking down her now instantly recognizable looks so that we can be her for Halloween. Waist-length platinum blonde wig not optional.
Halloween is a time for frights, costumes, and fun, but this year is a little different. You can still do all of those things, but please make sure to practice proper social distancing measures, avoid large gatherings, and remember every costume is best paired with a mask. Refinery29 is your one-stop Halloween shop when it comes to ways to celebrate safely. Enjoy!
Christine Quinn's all-green office look
"I see that [photo] of me in the blazer, Louis Vuitton glasses, and green crocodile steamer literally everywhere,” Quinn says before revealing her biggest secret of the previous season. That blazer that she's wearing with a $20,000 Louis Vuitton handbag? It's from an online store more known for working with Bachelor alums than selling high-end goods. Quinn tells me conspiratorially that the blazer, by Tibi, is from Revolve.
“I feel like if anyone wanted to dress like me, [that blazer is] a staple,” Quinn explains. “I wore it with a Gucci belt. Wear it with a really long ponytail, lipstick, maybe some hair accessories, and you have got to find green pumps.”Photo: Courtesy of Netflix.
"This was a scene where I was fighting with the producers because they always wanted us to look very business formal," Quinn says of her most casual outfit. "But I was like, listen, I’m at my house, I’m not going to be wearing a Hillary Clinton suit. I’m going to be wearing leggings, a necklace, and a cool shirt. They were fighting me again about the logos, but I was like, suck it up. I’m sorry I don’t own regular pants.”

“I swore to myself I was never going to wear these leggings out [of the house], because I felt that they were a little too Kim K/ Yeezy season 3 vibes," she says. "I was running so fucking late one day and all that was there were the shorts. I was like... I have to sex it up at least, so I put these clear heels on. Looking back, it’s kind of cute.”Photo: Mega Agency.

Quinn's over-the-top gothic wedding dress is one of her most recognizable looks. But Quinn has a clever suggestion for anyone trying to replicate her wedding day outfits.
"This look is so simple to do because you could just find a black dress and put a tutu underneath it to puff it out." she says, "And then all you have to do is carrying around two pet swans."

Blzr szn is a year round 24/7 affair. In the desert where the temps are hot during the day and cold at night? There’s a blazer for that. Heading for a crisp walk after work? There’s a blazer for that. Seriously, it’s about time we acknowledge the blazer’s place in the Classic Pieces to Own Hall of Fame alongside trench coats, puffer coats, quilted coats, and other outerwear items.
Plaid, oversized, colorful blazers were first perceived as a drive-by trend, one that would dissipate in the next few seasons. But brands found a way to innovate and keep them feeling fresh, with an update every single season. Whether the new features are plaid prints, a double breasted cut, or a belted waist, we’re 100% convinced at this point that we’ll never tire of blazers.
