Sevigne Has The Comfy Under-$80 Lingerie You’ll Actually Reach For Post-Valentine’s Day

Valentine’s Day calls for flowers, sweet treats, and show-stopping lingerie sets. Yet, after V-Day ends, we might still be relishing in chocolates and desserts galore while gazing at our new bouquets, but what about the lacy underthings? Lingerie tends to be taken out of their designated drawer for special occasions and forgotten until the next event — after all the money we spent on it, too! If you’re looking for a set you’ll keep reaching for no matter the occasion, but that still feels like something special, meet Sevigne. The lingerie brand has comfy and approachable sets and separates that you’ll gravitate towards — even during the week. Did we mention that all the bras and bottoms are under $80?

If you have yet to hear about Sevigne, it’s an Australian company whose mission is to cultivate elegant and timeless lingerie in a wide range of sizes. Take, for example, your favorite pair of undergarments. Everyone has that go-to pair that hugs you in all the right places and makes you feel like you just stepped off the catwalk, right? Sevigne strives to instill that powerful fearlessness with every piece by designing lingerie that’ll enhance your body rather than restrict it. With Sevigne, there are no complicated stringy break-your-back pieces to get in and out of. All the items are elevated in design, yet have the soft cushy feel of your go-to bra and undies. Plus, all the brand’s lingerie are available in a wide range of sizes, from A to J cups, band sizes 30 to 46, and bottom sizes XS to 5XL. Scroll on for some of our top picks.

La Premiere Esmee Lace Bra, $59 La Premiere Esmee Lace Thong, $29

The best-selling set, which is purchased as separates, is Sevigne’s La Premiere Esmee. The intimates are available in a soft tulle pink and white. Reviewers rave about the gorgeous design and how it supports people with bigger chests despite being sheer. “This bra is gorgeous, but I was worried it wouldn’t have the support I needed being on the larger side. When I tried it on, it was the opposite, ” a reviewer writes. “It looked custom-made, and the fit was incredible. I’ll be on the lookout for more colors. I’m into neutrals, so the pink doesn’t do it for me, but hoping to see a black one soon.” We hope so, too.

La Premiere Sylvie Spot Mesh Bra, $59 La Premiere Sylvie Spot Mesh Brief, $29

Freedom of mobility comes with this sultry mesh lingerie set. The Sylvie set is crafted from stretch mesh for optimal comfort and ease. You can also pick a matching brief or thong.

La Fete Elle Teal Embroidered Bra, $59 La Fete Elle Teal Embroidered Mid-Waist Brief, $29

Add a luxe-colored set to your lingerie collection with Sevigne’s floral embroidered La Fete Elle co-ords. The deep teal hue and intricate design create a Bridgerton-esque feel.

La Fete Claudia Lace Balconette Bra, $63 $38 La Fete Claudia Lace High-Waist Brief, $36 $22

Undergarments can get stuffy, but this lace lingerie set is breathable and light as air. The pastel pink and lace add a delicate touch for a sweet and flirty ensemble.

These Are The Best Grammys Looks Of All Time

Style-wise, the Grammys stand out from the rest of the award shows. Whereas Hollywood’s finest like to play it safe at the Oscars and the Golden Globes, choosing pretty gowns and the occasional suit, those who attend music’s biggest night of the year rarely follow suit, with grandiose entrances and outfit changes a common occurrence. That’s how we ended up with such a wide array of daring looks from Grammys past, including J.Lo’s iconic Versace jungle gown, Cardi B’s Mugler oyster masterpiece, and Rihanna’s bubblegum pink Giambattista Valli meme dress.

With the 65th Annual Grammy Awards airing on Sunday, we thought we’d take a trip down memory lane. Join in as we count off our all-time best-dressed looks from music's biggest night.

7 Copenhagen Fashion Week Fall 2023 Trends To Try Now

James Cochrane

Perhaps no other city is simultaneously as inspirational as it’s pragmatic when it comes to fashion trends as Denmark’s capital. Sure, New York, London, Milan, and Paris have a lot to say with their big designer names, but you can always count on Copenhagen Fashion Week to serve as a refresher course on everyday dressing; the runways take mixing and matching colors, prints, and wardrobe essentials to an entirely new level of quirkiness that somehow still feels wearable. Taking place before the Big Four, it also serves as the first taste of fall 2023 trends and collections to come.

Luckily, this season, there were plenty of inspirational things to pick up on, whether it was a singular color, a new print, or even an interesting way of styling a staple. From high-on-shine denim at Ganni to statement outerwear at Saks Potts, Copenhagen labels continue to define their own signatures that punctuate contemporary fashion.

Read on for our favorite trends from the Copenhagen Fashion Week fall 2023 season.

Copenhagen Fashion Week Trend Fall 2023: Space-Inspired

James Cochrane

Fashion has been referencing retro-futurism for more than a few seasons now, but the Copenhagen brands are taking the concept in a new direction with prints that serve as odes to all things space. See: the intergalactic-like patterns at Ganni and planetary prints from Helmstedt. The latter took things one step further with a knit set covered in aliens. Elsewhere, Henrik Vibskov’s hoods, sunglasses, and textured full-length bodysuits felt like something from another world.

Copenhagen Fashion Week Trend Fall 2023: Inflated Fashion

James Cochrane

Consider it a collective desire for comfort as we face an impending recession and post-pandemic life, but the designers at Copenhagen Fashion Week made a case for inventive shapes that looked inflated. Take, for instance, Baum und Pferdgarten’s extra-padded puffers and matching quilted skirts. Or: Stine Goya who presented bubble wrap-like puffer hoods, puffy coats, and pillow-like bags in spades. Meanwhile, Helmstedt’s signature quilted coats were done up in a rainbow of colors, with a finale dress that included a train made of puffy tails.

Copenhagen Fashion Week Trend Fall 2023: The Color Red

James Cochrane

Copenhagen is the city of color; you’d be hard-pressed to look through street style photos and not see an explosion of pastels, candy-colored brights, vivid neons, and primary hues all mixed together with reckless abandon. But this season, one stood out: red. Saks Potts showed several red-to-toe looks with suede coats, maxi skirts, strapless dresses, and matching sets. For its part, Baum und Pferdgarten showed the brand’s version of a red tracksuit.

Copenhagen Fashion Week Trend Fall 2023: All-Black

James Cochrane

At the opposite end of the spectrum, there was an echoing force of all-black, perhaps cementing a new era of quiet, edgy minimalism in Copenhagen. Ganni, known for its prints and use of leopard print as a neutral, opened its show with four all-black looks, a stark turn of direction for the brand, including a slouchy blazer, cargo pants, fringe sweater dress, and sequin maxi dress. Knitwear brand Skall Studio, typically known for its softer, ivory-hued palette, also embraced the dark side with oversized, all-black outerwear and sweater combinations.

Copenhagen Fashion Week Trend Fall 2023: Oversized Silhouettes

James Cochrane

The shape of things to come is looking larger-than-life, courtesy of designers such as Selam Fessahaye, who specializes in boxy silhouettes that convey a sense of power and take up more space and deconstructed details like exaggerated shoulders. Holzweiler also took big, cozy outerwear to the extreme, with giant silhouettes.

Copenhagen Fashion Week Trend Fall 2023: Camo Print

James Cochrane

The influence of Y2K still lives on as camouflage print seems to be making a comeback. For proof, take note of (Di)vision’s camo print long shorts, Selam Fessahaye’s cocoon-like coat dress, and Helmstedt’s abstract rainbow print. Camo has long been a Scandi favorite but, this season, Copenhagen’s designers showed it in wider, more maximalist varieties. Being subtle is not in fashion.

Copenhagen Fashion Week Trend Fall 2023: Dresses Over Pants

James Cochrane

At Ganni, sequin slip dresses were thrown over slouchy pants and paired with cowboy boots, and strapless snakeskin mini frocks were styled with gold pants. The Garment presented a more minimal, uniform-inspired take on skirts over pants with office-like pants and a wool skirt. The ’00s-inspired trend already started making a comeback last year, but we’ll likely be seeing a lot more of the look that feels equal parts fun and practical.

The Shoes From Dear Frances’ New Collection That Just Might Be Forever Staples

If Cinderella found her glass shoe on the palace doorsteps, I found mine within Dear Frances‘ Pre-Spring Summer 2023 Collection. I discovered the brand in 2017 when celebrities were first spotted in its colorful mules and pearl-embellished slides. Since then the luxury footwear brand has grown a long list of celeb followers — from stars like Emily Ratajkowski, Selena Gomez, and the Hadid sisters to influencers like Elsa Hosk and Chiara Ferragni — and it’s no wonder. It’s prized for its high-quality craftsmanship (each piece is handmade in Italy), and timeless styles. Plus, Dear Frances works hand-in-hand with its team of artisan shoemakers utilizing sustainable materials like apple leather and eco-vegan processes. Instead of trendy fast-fashion buys, Dear Frances goes for luxury pieces that’ll become a forever staple in your wardrobe.

Following up its winter boots collection, the brand’s latest creation is a new line of warm-weather shoes for fashionistas who are prepping for the upcoming seasons. The collection has everything from breathable mesh ballerina flats to suede slides to two different kinds of loafers — each available in a variety of shades.

Mind you, the shoes don’t come cheap — the most affordable pair is $380 — but are worth every dollar. On the site, Dear Frances’ founder Jane Frances says, “I look to develop investment styles with a quiet aesthetic; pieces that can be worn and cherished is the heart of our slow fashion ethos.”

I personally couldn’t agree more with the mission behind the brand after trying my first pair of Dear Frances shoes. I was gifted the Joss Nubuck Loafer in tan and the Harlow Patent Pump in blush pink, and the two styles are easily my favorite from the collection.

Curious to see how I styled them? Scroll ahead for the first outfits I’ve created with footwear from Dear Frances Pre-Spring Summer 2023 Collection.

Dear Frances Joss Nubuck Loafers in Tan, $520

If there’s anything that you need to invest in or choose from the new line, it’s these loafers. After another pair of loafers tore up my feet to the point that I was limping for days, I was scarred. However, I found myself effortlessly slipping into these soft shoes. No uncomfortable rubbing or tightness. I wore them out for the first time without ANY Band-Aids and came home fine.

These loafers could be styled in multiple ways, casually with an oversized sweater, quilted vest, jeans, or a comfy long-sleeve midi dress. I went my usual preppy route with a plaid blazer, white fisherman’s sweater, and my go-to green corduroy Ralph Lauren cap. Another academic look — with a slight twist — you could try is a cardigan sweater and a cargo skirt. All in all, I’ve declared these loafers my new baby, and I know I’ll wear them years from now because of their classic look

As I’ve mentioned, there are two loafers in this new collection. The Driver Loafer and the Joss Nubuck Loafer. The Driver Loafer, with its smooth exterior lined by a whip-stitch edge and a contrasting sole, resembles an easy slip-on you lounge around in. Meanwhile, the Joss Nubuck Loafer has a vintage feel with the nubuck and strap detail. (If you didn’t know, nubuck is made from high-quality leather that gives off a similar appearance to suede but is more durable and naturally water-resistant.)

The loafers also have a slight height, with a 1 cm heel. I appreciated how it wasn’t too flat or too chunky and had that “just right” balance.

Dear Frances Harlow Patent Pump in Blush Pink, $480

The Harlow Pump is a versatile block-heel shoe fit for the office, weekend brunches, and elevated events. I paired mine with a soft knit collared sweater, black flare dress pants, and my ivory JW Pei Gabbi bag. The 3-inch heel is comfortable to walk in, whether moving around the office, en route to events, or shopping in the city. I also adored how the rounded toe looked rather than the typical pointed ones. It was softer in appearance, making it more relaxed, with the patent leather bringing a luxe touch. I’ll be going to Paris this summer for my honeymoon, and the Harlow is coming with me.

The pump is the best-selling piece from the new collection, as most of the shoes are sold out. Unfortunately, they were sold out of my size (6.5), so I opted for a size 7 and didn’t mind because of the adjustable strap. If you fell in love with the vintage flair of the Joss Loafers, you’ll admire the pump version.
