"Puddle jeans are my new obsession. ICYMI, these are wide-leg jeans where the hem is so long it flares or bunches up at your feet like a puddle. This trend is definitely influenced by the TikTok girlies and personally I’m a fan. I received this pair from LA brand Mother last month and it's the perfect '90s-inspired pair and goes with so much in my wardrobe. I was definitely being ambitious with the open-toe shoes in October so I’ll be wearing these with my fave sneakers and heeled boots for the rest of the season."

"My 4-year-old self was ecstatic when I found out that ballet flats were back in. I've always loved their delicate appearance and how timeless they are. You can casually pair them with jeans and a button-down shirt or more formally with a velvet maxi dress. I know there are fresh, new takes on this classic style but I specifically wanted an everyday pair for the office and off-duty days, so that's why I got my hands on Everlane's Italian leather ballet flats in almond. Created from buttery soft leather and with a cushioned insole, I know my feet will be comfortable and this perfect brown shade will make them a staple piece in my wardrobe."

"As someone who has a fuller bust and shorter torso, finding a pair of dungarees that fit has been a challenge. Most pairs I’ve tried either had a front bodice that wasn’t wide enough, or went way past where my waist hits. Plus, the bottom half would always be way too loose for my liking. After months of disappointment, I’ve finally found the perfect pair of basic overalls in this black Whistles style. The bodice is wide enough to cover my chest — and gives me enough room to fit a knit top or sweatshirt like this DKNY hand-me-down from my grandma — and the trousers have a relaxed but not overly loose fit. Sure, I still had to chop off several inches at the hem but I will take this for how well it molds to the rest of my body."
"One of my style goals in life is to dress like the iconic Penny Lane so when I saw this floral, quilted coat I fell in love immediately. It really is a statement piece, especially perfect as we head into winter and outerwear becomes the focal point of our outfits. I’ll be wearing it with everything: with maxi skirts and cowboy boots now, and over cozy knits and jeans as it gets colder. Sizing-wise, I could have gone for a small (which would've still given me the slightly oversized look I love) but this medium has even more room in case I want to throw one of my thick hoodies on underneath or layer even more." –VL

I love my bubblegum pink sweater vest as it can be worn alone — as seen here during a mild afternoon in Lisbon — or over a long-sleeve top or sweater for autumn layering. This jumper from Thought has a warm, autumnal palette that feels festive without being too over the top. The balloon sleeves are unique and look dressed up even when paired with simple blue jeans or a flared miniskirt. From an eco-conscious standpoint, the brand wins extra points for incorporating a zero-plastic mandate from manufacturing to delivery.
