Amongst all the intriguing brand partnerships fighting for our attention, the new Adidas Originals x Asos collaboration should definitely be on your radar for transitional dressing. Athletic heritage brand Adidas and trend-focused retailer Asos are teaming up for the fourth time on an elevated athleisure collection… and their first-ever menswear capsule.
“The success of the previous collection gave us the confidence to push the partnership further,” said Asos executive vice president Vanessa Spence in a press release. “For this chapter, we focused on a moment we know is important to our customer. The point in the season when they’re making the most of summer while looking ahead to what’s next. […] We’ve created a collection that feels confident, versatile and distinctly Asos.”
This summer has proven that our sporty fashion era is here to stay (from Knicks merch to World Cup soccer jerseys). So this collaboration, modeled by professional boxer Ramla Ali, is on-trend and ready to dress you accordingly for late-summer into the fall.
The womenswear collection, which will exclusively be available on Asos.com, features several matching sets (like ones inspired by the Adidas Firebird Track Suit) in elevated designs. Picture the fashion-forward attitude of Asos marrying the athlete-approved flair of Adidas.

So, what makes these athleisure pieces so special? Well, Adidas’ signature 3-Stripes design has been paired with preppy plaids and stripes (in a mix of neutrals and primary color palettes) along with embroidery detailing and lace finishes (on knit and satin styles). “Power shoulders, dropped waists, and soft structure bring a more directional edge to familiar sportswear shapes,” according to the press release.
Beyond tracksuit separates and windbreakers, the collection also features sporty takes on collared polo tops, funnel-neck jackets, vests, and jumpsuits to fill out your transitional wardrobe. There are also some unexpected silhouettes, like oversized blazers, peplum tops, and mini skirts attached to track pants.
And with the pieces ranging between $45 and $150, you may just want to build a few head-to-toe outfits. So, if you want to make these styles your own for weekend strolls, casual Fridays, sports watch parties, and more, shop the much-anticipated collection on July 30.
